Foundation Plan
Foundation Plan - The foundation plan shows the profile and size of the necessary concrete preparation and gives particulars as to recesses necessary to accommodate projections and holding down bolts etc.
The use of such a drawing enables a template to be made so that the foundation can be dug and. set down before the machine is delivered and will be ready for occupation as soon as it arrives.
Fig.shows the foundation plan of a lathe and that of a vertical milling machine.
