Machines - For any boring machine operation, proper setting and fastening of the workpiece is very important. Angle plates clamps. T bolts etc., may be employed for conventional work.
Production work on the horizontal boring machine is assisted by the employment of boring jigs and fixtures which incorporate means to locate the work with brackets for supporting and guiding the boring bars to give the correct hole centres.
