Planer Attatchements OR Accessories - The following accessories may be used on planer to enhance its versatility:

(i) Heavy (construction) vise.

(ii) Index centers. They are capable of dividing the periphery of job into accurately spaced divisions.

(iii) Special attachments are used more particularly in repair shops handling a large variety of work, and where the planning equipment is limited. There can be radial attachment for such work as machining curved links. Inclined tables can be fitted to most machines.

(iv)Copying attachments, milling heads, and grinding heads can be offered on planning machines.

(v) Duplex tables, which are split crosswise into two sections, also increase productivity.
