Size and Specification of Slotter - A slotter may be designated by,

(i) The length of the ram stroke e.g., it may De 320 mm,

(ii) The diameter of the worktable, e.g. , it may be 630 mm.

(iii) The maximum table travel e.g., it may be: longitudinal 6S0 mm and cross 500 mm.

(iv)Table feed per tool double stroke e.g., it may be longitudinal 0'2-2'4 mm, cross 0'2-2'4 mm and circular 0.1-1.4 mm.

(v) Principal movement motor power e.g., it may be 7 kW.

(vi)Overall dimensions of the slotter e.g., these may be 2650x 1810x 2890 mm.
